On the morning of September 14 we will be upgrading the CITES Wiki from
Confluence 2.5 to Confluence 2.8. The wiki will be taken offline at 5:30am,
and we expect to complete the upgrade and return the wiki to service by
10am. The wiki user interface will change in some significant ways, and a
number of new features will become available to the CITES Wiki user
community. All of the content currently stored on the CITES WIki will still be
available after the upgrade has been completed.

Additional upgrade notes are available here:
https://wiki.cites.uiuc.edu/wiki/x/QxGgAQ

If you have questions or comments, or if you encounter problems after the
upgrade, please email the CITES Wiki service manager at cites-wiki-
mgr@uiuc.edu.

The CITES Spam Control user tools have been taken offline in order to
investigate problems with the quarantine database. Users will not be able to
release messages or request digests while the service is down. Mail flow will not
be interrupted.

<p>UPDATE: CITES Spam Control has been restored and all spam quarantine services are now
available. Due to unrecoverable corruption in one quarantine database table, all
mail quarantined due to blocklist entry has been lost. To recover a blocked
message, users should request that the original sender resend the message. We
apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.

Note that all email recently quarantined due to a high spam score (the vast
majority of quarantined mail) is still available for release.

If you have questions or encounter problems, please contact the CITES Help
Desk by email at consult@illinois.edu or by phone at (217) 244-7000.
